Cunningly Good Group shortlisted for four CIPR Scotland PRide Awards

Cunningly Good Group, the Perth head-quartered independent PR and marketing agency, has been shortlisted for four awards for this year’s prestigious Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Scotland Awards, including for Small PR Consultancy of the Year.

The blended agency, which brings together experts in strategy, communications, design and websites, has been shortlisted for ‘Best use of Media Relations’ for its work with HMS Unicorn, Scotland’s oldest ship and popular Dundee Museum and visitor attraction, and ‘Low Budget Campaign’ for it’s work with Culture Perth and Kinross and the integrated marketing campaign ‘Can it be true?’ which was launched to encourage more people back to the library and using library services following the pandemic.

The multiple award-winning agency, which will celebrate its 21st birthday later this year, was also shortlisted for a newly introduced award category, ‘Best Long-term Client Care’, for its work with the Enchanted Forest Community Trust and successfully delivering the marketing and PR for Scotland’s favourite sound and light show, The Enchanted Forest, for the past 15 years.

Cunningly Good Group’s highly skilled experienced team is the only agency operating in Tay country with two qualified CIPR Chartered PR practitioners, the highest level of professional accreditation in public relations in the world. As a small, boutique agency located outwith the central belt, Cunningly Good Group has always aimed to be one of the UK’s leading independent agencies and has, for the sixth time since 2015, been shortlisted in the category for Small PR Agency of the Year. This is a highly coveted title within the industry, for which Cunningly Good Group has previously claimed a Gold Award in 2021 and Silver Awards in 2020 and 2018.

Tricia Fox, founder and CEO of Cunningly Good Group, commented: “After what has been a rollercoaster three years for the business, since the pandemic hit, my cunningly good team are proving once again that quality will always shine through and that an award-winning attitude is at the very heart of great creative work. The three clients for whom our campaign work has been shortlisted were also significantly impacted by the pandemic in their own way, either as venues that were closed to the public, or events that were cancelled. It’s absolutely brilliant that we can share the spotlight with them and everyone’s remarkable resilience to continue to deliver excellence. I could not be more proud.”

The national CIPR Scotland PRide Awards ceremony takes place on 9 November 2023 at the Sheraton Grand in Edinburgh, where the winners will be announced.
