Perth agency reaffirms its position as one of Scotland’s leading comms agencies
Perth head-quartered independent marketing agency, Cunningly Good Group, has reaffirmed its position as one of Scotland’s leading independent communications agencies by achieving the Communications Management Standard (CMS) for a third time. The accreditation is independently audited and awarded by the industry’s professional body the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) for companies which demonstrate operational excellence.
The industry standard benchmark, which has been achieved by only two other agencies headquartered in Scotland, is valid for a year, and combines elements of ‘ISO9001’ and ‘Investors in People’ with criteria specific to a communications consultancy. Consultancies are scored on nine core areas including leadership and communication, business planning, business improvement, financial management and systems, campaign management, client satisfaction, new business, people management and diversity.
To achieve the accreditation an independent audit was undertaken to prove systems were in place that would ensure the effective planning and measurement of all programme work in the agency. The Cunningly Good Group has now held this industry standard benchmark since 2018.
Carol Magill, CMS Assessor at PRCA said:
“My many congratulations to Cunningly Good Group for achieving Communication Management Standard (CMS) – the PRCA’s industry accreditation for excellence – for a third time. Organisations that achieve CMS have met over 200 requirements including client and campaign management, leadership, finances, business planning, benchmarking, and ethical practice. Year two of CMS concentrates on diversity with a focus on creation of inclusive workplaces and reaching out to groups not well represented in the industry. Well done to Cunningly Good Group for strengthening their professionals by becoming more open and equal.”
Tricia Fox, Founder of the Cunningly Good Group, commented:
“We’re delighted to have retained this accreditation for another year. It is a welcome acknowledgement that the Cunningly Good Group is a well-run business and shows an absolute commitment to delivering communications excellence for our clients, while ensuring we operate ethically and fairly and ensuring our recruitment process is as diverse and inclusive as is possible. I am incredibly proud of the team for all their commitment, and as we look to grow as market confidence returns post pandemic, this re-accreditation is a real feather in our cap.”
